Monday night at Cubs there was plenty of drilling and fixing of wood as each Cub made a catamaran which were then taken home to customise (the catamarans not the Cubs) ready to race down the river Dorn the following week. The catamarans were taken away as plain wood and returned in all colours & designs with many of them flying the George Cross ready for the world cup. The winner on the night was Tom whose boat had the best design and won the most races. The river racing was made possible thanks to Mr Chesterman letting 1st Bartons Cub pack, loose in his garden.
