October 1930 - A trek cart was given to the Bartons by Cassington Troop, a most useful addition to their transport as it had pneumatic tyres.
March 1931 - Scoutmaster went to London for annual Commissioners dinner, he took cases and hold-all filled with gifts from the troop & pack for Roland House Hostel.
May 1935 - Cubs dig out sand pit for children’s playground (on site of 37 & 39 North Street)
June 1936 - Troop added to their original gift for mission hall of stage by providing a set of electric footlights.
