who had very different levels of access to clean drinking water.

For this we chose India, we were lucky that one of the mum’s is a RE teacher and she ran 2 evenings giving the Cubs many interesting facts about India.
In addition we had a night of sampling Indian food, this evening was run by Jo Ross who also runs Gourmet To Go, cooking & delivering to your home a range of foods from around the world.

Find out about things that can be recycled. Over a period of four weeks show how they have recycled some things in their home.


Run a campaign over a month to encourage people to conserve energy or water.


Find out about an aspect of international Scouting. They could take part in a 'Join In Jamboree' activity, or arrange a visit from a Jamboree participant. Or, they could find out about Scouting in a country of their choice.


To gain this challenge badge the Cubs need to complete three of five challenges:

An evening with Steeple Aston Cubs from Bicester District. This visit was arranged as part of the Global Challenge, where the cubs were given a talk by a Scout who had been to Thialand for the 2003 Jamboree.
