1st Bartons inaugural hike was a huge success with over 50 people taking part. The hike started at 10:30 and was finished before 2pm. It was a gentle hike through some lovely countryside which everyone from the very young to the more senior participants enjoyed. The Scouts didn’t see it quite like that, four of them decided to wait until last then jog the course with the aim of overtaking everyone else, which they did and finished in just over an hour.
